In the role of Data Center Site Manager, you are responsible for End-to-end ownership and accountability of our clients’ datacenter technical site. You are responsible for managing the infrastructure in the assigned data center, in conjunction with the Operations Director to ensure optimum performance by implementing and supervising the Planned Preventative Maintenance program.


Requirements:

  • Ensuring management of facilities services through third party contractors, or direct via staff
  • Ensuring site cleanliness (through third party contractors)
  • Site Opex (Operating Expenses) budget
  • Managing maintenance cost
  • Installation of new infrastructure
  • Supporting ISO14001 (Environmental) ISO27001 (Information Security Management System)
  • Day to day site running.
  • Maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure
  • Monitoring of all infrastructure
  • Completing capacity reporting
  • Monitoring of energy efficiency and proactively seek & record savings.
  • Managing maintenance costs
  • Writing of standard and emergency operations procedures and training of operative staff
  • Available for out of hours planned and reactive support, included the on call ROTA.
  • Liaise with Landlord representatives.
  • Identifies team technical and professional development and training.
  • Day to day team leading of others 3rd parties on site, including Security.
  • Small works requests
  • Site Opex cost controlling (including PO raising)
  • Support Site Capex forecasting
  • Energy Efficiency (Opex Savings Targets)
  • Support Site plant performance trending
  • Apply and maintain Site Health & Safety rules.
  • Sales and commercial support including bid support and site tours.
  • Reports for customers (power, temperature, humidity…)
  • Other reasonable tasks around the site/ stakeholders am within professional competences when necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Degree level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent level of job experience
  • Membership of relevant professional body (desirable)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Personal drive, highly self-motivated and self-organized
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent Team Player and ability to work in an international team
  • Flexibility and creativity
  • Willingness to travel between data centers on a regular basis
  • Fluent in Local Language and English (written and spoken), additional European languages is an asset
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching traditional data center problems and emergent challenges.
  • Full driving license
