This opportunity is for military community members who are interested to work within the Data Center Industry. You will gain practical experience in various roles such as Physical Security, Data Center Technician/Remote Hands, Critical Facilities Maintenance, Sales, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, Project Management and more. This position is open to active-duty military personnel who are eligible for the SkillBridge program and military spouses who are eligible for fellowships. The ideal candidate should have a desire to gain experience in the data center industry, an understanding of the skills and qualifications required for different positions, and a commitment to learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals in the data center industry to gain practical experience in various roles
  • Participate in training and development programs to gain knowledge and skills relevant to the data center industry and your specific role
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities assigned by your supervisor to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of the team
  • Collaborate with other interns and industry professionals to complete projects and tasks
  • Attend meetings and participate in discussions to gain insight into the industry and contribute to decision-making processes
  • Develop a network of contacts within the industry to facilitate future career opportunities
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation related to the SkillBridge program

Qualifications:

  • Active duty military personnel who are eligible for the SkillBridge program
  • Military Spouses who are eligible for HOH Fellowship
  • A desire to gain experience in the data center industry, and a commitment to learning and professional growth
  • Knowledge of the data center industry and different roles within it, including physical security, data center technicians, facilities maintenance, sales, marketing, talent acquisition, project management and more
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software programs
  • Understanding of SkillBridge program guidelines and requirements, and willingness to adhere to them
