Across the data center industry – from deployment, through operations and maintenance, to decommissioning – Salute is the industry leader in delivering global data center services. As we expand our operations across Europe – we are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager in Amsterdam.

As a Facility Manager, you are responsible for managing and coordinating all facility services at one of our clients. You ensure that all teams function optimally, work safely and comply with legal requirements. In addition, you will play a key role in increasing the efficiency and cost savings of facility processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of facilities: Responsible for the day-to-day management of facilities, such as (technical) cleaning.
  • Contract management: Managing contracts with suppliers of services and materials, such as cleaning.
  • Planning: Planning the (technical) cleaning work.
  • Safety & legislation: Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and other legal regulations.
  • Quality control: Monitoring the performance of suppliers and ensuring that they comply with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Sustainability: Initiating and contributing to sustainable projects, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Leadership: Managing the facilities team and any subcontractors or suppliers that have been hired.

Requirements:

  • MBO-4/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Facility Management, Business Administration or a similar education.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of facility processes and laws and regulations (health and safety, safety, environment).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organizational and project management skills.
  • Financial insight and experience with budgeting.
  • Solution-oriented attitude and stress resistant.
